EPL: I’m not concerned about top-4– Klopp said after Liverpool 1-0 lost to Fulham

Jurgen Klopp has said that he is not thinking about finishing in the Premier League top four at the moment.

Liverpool are finding life difficult with series of poor results coming from both home and away games.

The Reds were overpowered by bottom three side, Fulham, losing 1-0 at Anfield to Scott Parker’s side on Sunday.

The Reds have now lost 6 matches consecutively and every hope of making it to next season’s Champions League is fading away.

Addressing the press after the match, the German gaffer, who is now under intense pressure, said, “I imagine that is really not my concern in the moment. I understand that you have to ask that but I cannot think about that.

“We have to win football games, we have to win one football game, that would be helpful already and then we will see [with] the rest,” Klopp said when asked where the result leaves Liverpool’s hopes of a top-four finish Dailypost

EPL: Keane blames Salah, Robertson as Fulham defeat Liverpool

Former Manchester United star, Roy Keane, has blamed Liverpool duo, Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson for Mario Lemina’s goal against the Reds on Sunday in the Premier League.

Keane said Salah and Robertson looked a ‘shadow of themselves’ as Liverpool suffered their sixth consecutive home defeat against Fulham this season.

Lemina’s late first-half goal gave Fulham all three points against Jurgen Klopp’s side at Anfield.

“It’s a lovely technique [from Lemina], but it’s shocking from Liverpool’s point of view,” Keane told Sky Sports.

“Set-piece, obviously Robertson has got to do better. Salah – okay, it’s not one of his strengths – outmuscled.

“But it’s a lovely technique, the way he gets across the ball, and they deserve it. It’s not a great delivery. I think Robertson has got to do better, Salah has got to be stronger, he cannot lose it there.

“Fantastic strike, but it’s amazing what’s happened to this Liverpool team. They’re a shadow of themselves.

“Salah not good enough, not strong enough, [not enough] desire but Robertson has got to do better as well. You’ve got to get a better header than that away.” Dailypost

REVEALED: Tottenham reach swap deal with Fulham for Sessegnon

Tottenham have found agreement with Fulham to sign England Under-21 left-back Ryan Sessegnon for 25m.

The deal will see Spurs midfielder Josh Onomah moving the other way.

The fee for Sessegnon, 19, who scored two goals in 35 Premier League appearances last season for relegated Fulham, could rise to 30m.

In addition, Spurs' proposed signing of Real Betis and Argentina midfielder Giovani lo Celso is likely to be on loan with an obligation to buy.
Lo Celso, who has 19 caps for Argentina, joined Betis on a permanent deal in April after spending the season on loan from Paris St-Germain. He made 45 appearances for the La Liga club in all competitions last season, scoring 16 goals.
